JOSEPH V. GUASTAFERRO 
The legal community knows Joseph V. Guastaferro across the country as an insightful and practical trial consultant. His unique contribution to a trial team is widely recognized and he works regularly as a consultant in both civil and criminal cases. He has also served as a court appointed mitigation specialist in capital cases.
Guastaferro was an inaugural faculty member and curriculum advisor at the Trial Lawyers College, founded by Gerry Spence, from 1994 to 1998. He has given stirring presentations for the American Bar Association, regional programs of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, the National Criminal Defense College, and for the Russian Jury Project in St. Petersburg.
Guastaferro is a member of the American Society of Trial Consultants and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers where he is Co-Chair of the Jury Selection Committee. As a consultant, he has been on the plaintiff's side of multimillion-dollar verdicts and in the criminal courts has assisted in the defense of dozens of capital cases.
