DOUGLAS LIND

Douglas Lind is an attorney, a Professor of Philosophy, and a phenomenal CLE leader.

In addition to his work with THE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION GROUP, Professor Lind is a regular faculty member at the National Judicial College and has contributed to the CLE efforts of bar associations, law firms and government entities across the nation.

Lind teaches courses in the philosophy of law, ethical theory, and logic at The University of Idaho, where he is Chair of the Philosophy Department. He also serves on the Universitys Environmental Science faculty. He is the author of Logic and Legal Reasoning (NJC Press, 2001) and his articles are published in respected legal journals both in the U.S. and internationally.

Professor Lind practiced in the Office of the Attorney General of Missouri and in private practice in Philadelphia, specializing in environmental law, toxic torts, and American Indian Law.

Prior to teaching at the University of Idaho, Professor Lind served on the faculties of the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University Law School, and Villanova University.

Lind earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis and his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania.
